Continuation of elementary Italian course studying Italian grammar with specific attention placed on developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills as well as and introducing cultural aspects of Italy.

Oral practice of basic structures and vocabulary most often used in conversation. Designed for students who wish to acquire basic skills of spoken Italian.
Not recommended for native speakers of Italian.

Second semester course: Extensive oral practice of basic structures, cultural aspects, and vocabulary most often used in conversation. Designed for students who wish to acquire basic-intermediate skills of spoken Italian.
Not recommended for native speakers of Italian.

Continuation of extensive oral training of structures and vocabulary of spoken intermediate Italian. The major difference between Italian 11A and 11B is in reading and oral assignments. The courses focus on specific topics (literature, fine arts, and current affairs) but also include different grammar topics. Course conducted primarily in Italian.
Not recommended for native speakers of Italian.

Continuation of extensive oral training of advanced structures and vocabulary of spoken intermediate Italian. The major difference between Italian 11A and 11B is in reading and oral assignments. The courses focus on specific topics (literature, fine arts, and current affairs) but also include different grammar topics.
